How to give my dog PRO PLAN® Natural Defences + supplement?
Serve once a day, along with one of your dog's meal. Place the PRO PLAN® Natural Defences + tablet(s) in a bowl, or directly give from your hand. For best results, use continuously as part of your their daily feeding routine and follow the feeding guidelines based on your dog's bodyweight.
Clean, fresh drinking water should always be available.
For your dog’s health, respect the feeding guide and exercise daily.
Supervise your dog when giving them tablets.
Not recommended for pregnant or lactating bitches.

Poppy loves her natural defences supplements, as she is only a small dog she gets half a tablet with her dinner, I swear she is jumping higher at dinner time with excitement before her dinner is served. She also seems to have more energy and sneezes less.
I received these a few weeks ago but unfortunately was unable to star my dog on them due to having a back injury and not being able to move easily. They were very well packaged. I have now started my rescue Collie on them, she takes them very well so have no problem giving them to. I was a little disappointed as I actually requested calming product as when I rescued her she came with reactive issues but I am convinced these will help her too.
I have used Purina products in the past with previous dogs and found them to be very good.
I decided to try these for my border collie to help build up her defences should she ever need them, aspecially with all.the talk of the extra bugs going around that dogs can now catch. The tablets themselves don't have a unpleasant smell like other tablets however there is a smell to them which my dog picked up straight away. I tried offering them to her as they are but all she did was sniff and walk off no mater how many times I tried. I decided I would crush up the tablet and mix into to dog safe peanut butter hoping she wouldn't be able to smell them, sadly she knew it was in there straight away and would not touch the peanut butter even though this is one of her favourite treats. I tried this with various different products mixed in but she was aware of them all containing the tablets (even when only using half a tablet) and wouldn't eat them. After her refusal to eat them i decided to try my other dog eho is a large crossbread (he isna rescue from Romania) on them however I had the same issues with him not taking the tablet or having any food with it mixed in. I was not willing to force the tablets into my dogs mouth so I can't comment on how effective they actually are, however if you have picky dogs like mine the only way you might get them to take them would be to force the tablets in to their mouths which just doesn't sit right with me so I would not do this.
Although one might expect a Battersea Dogs Home rescue dog of indeterminate origins to be omnivorous, Harry has always resisted any kind of tablets and these were unfortunately no exception. As they are so large, they are difficult to disguise and they were hard to break or cut into smaller pieces to hide in other food. No discernible difference yet, perhaps because he has avoided eating much of them.
