My favourite thing about Piglet is...
she is unbelievably fluffy, but equally as feisty; Piggy is super affectionate and loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the sofa in front of a fire… except perhaps chasing rabbits across the fields!
The biggest challenge with Piglet is...
her feisty attitude!
The most surprising thing about owning a Dachshund (Miniature Long-Haired) is...
she barks at anything and everything and they are actually really fast! Please think they can’t be because their legs are so short, but she goes like a rocket when she wants to!
What I wish I’d known about Dachshunds (Miniature Long-Haired) is...
I wish I had been stricter on the barking when she was a puppy as it’s much easier to teach them not to do it in the first place rather than break a habit!

Dachshunds are big barkers which can be traced back to their hunting days when they’d trap prey underground and then call for the hunters to come and locate them. It’s likely you’ll have to train them how to stop so they don’t become a nuisance!
