Well, this is the first time my dog has done a happy dance for food. Must be good.
My two beagles can be Very fussy eaters, with the smaller of the two getting an upset tummy from she eats sometimes. Not Purina, easy on the tummy my dogs couldn't get enough.
Well I was excited about this food when it arrived. The food itself doesn't have that usual dog food smell that makes you turn your nose up! A mixture of smaller and bigger pieces which most other brands are just all the same.
Unfortunately it wasn't a hit fir my pooch she was excited when the bag arrived as was her sister but she wasn't very impressed . We started off mixing some in with her regular food which she did eat but at the same time decided to get 3/4 chunks and take them in the room to eat rather than at her bowl. By the tike we had worked up to this food only she had totally lost interest and just gave me that look of are you really just giving me this?
So in the end we give it to her mixed in with her previous food and she's happy with small amounts now , however the food making its way into the front room hasn't stopped. On the other hand her fluffy sister will clean up any mess that has been left around so I can't grumble!
Maybe she just needs a longer transition time I don't know but I will keep trying her with a bit more each day.
Such a shame as I much prefer the small and texture of this food to other leading brands I guess only tike will tell
