Feeding guide
One sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora can be used daily on a long-term basis. Give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day, sprinkled on top of the regular food, until at least 1 week after the return to normal stool quality. To reduce flatulence in dogs, give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day for at least 2 weeks.
To help support immune system function, give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day. When feeding to restore intestinal microflora balance due to antibiotic use, give 1 sachet of PRO PLAN FortiFlora every day during the antibiotic course and for 1 week after the last dose of antibiotic. Ideally, PRO PLAN Fortiflora should be given at least 2 hours apart from any antibiotics.

Seems to boost appetite. My 12 Yr old JRT seems to be eating better and her tummy noises seem to have settled. I've looked up the price and it's quite expensive but it says to try it just twice a week so this may make it more affordable.
Small box of sachets received, no instructions on how to use, how much to put on food and how often? Daily, weekly no idea. Sprinkled one sachet on top of dry and wet food, seems fine to eat, no different from usual food time. Haven’t noticed any difference yet.
I had never heard of such a thing as canine probiotic therefore I didn't really know what to expect.
I received a small box which contained 7 sachets.
The instructions for use advised to sprinkle onto normal food.
We did this and our dog did seem to enjoy it, certainly she was not deterred by it.
However with only one week's supply it is so difficult to say whether this product provided any true benefits.
When we first started using it she was unfortunately suffering with very bad wind. She is very sensitive to something - unfortunately we aren't sure what at this moment. Now the wind has settled down, much to everyone's pleasure, but it's difficult to say whether this probiotic actually helped with this or whether it was a coincidence.
I feel like I would really prefer to keep the probiotic up for a while to see if I could see definite advantages.
So having said that I would possibly buy this as a trial but I am not certain yet as to whether this would become a regular purchase in our household.
My dog Poppy, a Rough Collie, is 16 years old and her stomach sometimes gives her trouble, grumbling and affecting her bowels.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the fortiflora but duly sprinkled it on her food, dubious as to whether she would actually eat it. To my surprise, she ate her food as normal and the fortiflora was gobbled down.
I can genuinely report a real difference to her stomach and will be continuing to buy this probiotic when I have finished the trial.
