While this is a good food product and served my dog well for years, I have come to discover that my dog no longer needs this food. I now have him on pooch and mutt fish and potato.
You see he was so unwell for a period, due to trying to find another suitable food when this one was taken off sale for months. He was diagnosed with pancreatitis years ago but what I didn't know and thanks to feclab after testing his enzyme levels was that he needed pancreas enzyme granuals in his
food. Since using the enzymes, which I bought online, he has been fabulous. Fur, skin, ears, eyes and tummy has been lovely. He is like a new dog. Not one vet mentioned giving him enzymes. So no more bland purina HA food for him.
