Hi from Mollie
Border Collie, 2 years old
My favourite thing about Mollie is...
Mollie is my shadow, since she was 11 weeks old we have become inseparable, we go everywhere together and regularly cover over 10,000 steps every day in the South Pennines, Mollie never takes her eyes of me and is such a wonderful dog, she's a perfect companion who suits my lifestyle, she is also a photographer's dream 🐕🐾❤️
The biggest challenge with Mollie is...
My biggest challenge so far is keeping her weight down, although we get regular exercise she is a couple of kilos overweight.
The most surprising thing about owning a Border Collie is...
I'm amazed by their eagerness to please, they are so clever and their senses are unbelievable, hearing, sight and smell are fantastic but also their sense of danger.
What I wish I’d known about Border Collies is...
There's nothing better than seeing your dog running in the countryside and playing with other dogs, however one thing I didn't take into account is how mucky and wet dogs can get, if there's a puddle Mollie will find it, sit in it, roll around in it ! So I built her (and me) a summer house so she has a place to dry off after her shower or wash down 🐕🐾❤️.
Did you know?
American psychologist Dr. Stanley Coren classified the Border Collie as the most intelligent breed of dog, ranking first out of 133 breeds.
