Get to know Jagger
Border Collie & Australian Cattle Dog, 4 years old
My favourite thing about Jagger is...
He’s my inspiration. After losing my best friend, Ben the black lab, I never thought I’d be happy again, and when I had my liver transplant Ben went through it all with me and was there if I cried or needed a hug. Jagger is so handsome and he’s very clever, he’s never once done wees or poos indoors, he dances and when he’s tickled or brushed he actually smiles.
The biggest challenge with Jagger is...
We can’t get him to go in our car without him crying out as he's so petrified - the last memory he has is of being grabbed off the streets in Romania and thrown in the back of a van by cruel people. He is called Jagger as he has a scar across the left side of his face and half of his pupil is white, I can never trust him 100% as I don’t know what he’s been through.
The most surprising thing about owning a Border Collie & Australian Cattle Dog is...
His temperament.
What I wish I’d known about Border Collies & Australian Cattle Dogs is...
Nothing.
