Meet Milo
Border Collie & Welsh Corgi (Pembroke), 2 years old
He came from Phoenix rehoming .
My favourite thing about Milo is...
Milo is extremely loving but also extremely cheeky! He gets away with a lot due to this! He loves to give cuddles upside down! He loves to play his own ball game where he throws, chases and catches it, usually after he has stolen another dogs ball! And he shows his happiness and excitement through lots of growly noise which means people avoid the most fun loving little man!
The biggest challenge with Milo is...
He is extremely sociable and loves meeting, playing and chasing other dogs. When happy and excited he growls and jumps around and can be boisterous! A lot of people don’t like/understand this and think he’s aggressive which could not be further from the truth! This means he isn’t allowed to play with many dogs and we get shouted at on walks! We are working on recall so he can more with other dogs!
The most surprising thing about owning a Border Collie & Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) is...
They like to herd and are full of energy. He’s our class clown, very noisy and is always doing something funny or silly! But he loves a cuddle usually on top of us! Despite being small he is not scared of anything and loves big dogs! I would never have chosen either breed but we met milo and we fell in love with him! I would definitely have another Borgi- he’s stolen our hearts ❤️
What I wish I’d known about Border Collies & Welsh Corgis (Pembroke) is...
They’re noisy and boisterous and can be a bit stubborn! He can be timid and will do things in his own time which can take forever sometimes! Mine obviously forgot the collie obedience and has a high prey drive so recall is super hard to train however all his qwerks and love will totally outweigh any difficulties we have had with him!
