Meet Bear
Chow Chow, 2 years old
My favourite thing about Bear is...
His cute little face, and that he actually looks like a bear.
The biggest challenge with Bear is...
His stubbornness.
The most surprising thing about owning a Chow Chow is...
That they are known for being aggressive and not good with children, but Bear couldn’t be any more loving if he tried. He absolutely adores children especially when that stop to say hello out and about.
What I wish I’d known about Chow Chows is...
They are not an easily trainable dog. At 2 we still don’t have recall and we can’t let him off lead. It makes me sad because he wants to run with all the other dogs, but he’s too naughty when it’s time to come back!
Did you know?
The Chow Chow has a blue/black tongue (as does the Shar Pei, polar bears and giraffes!)
