Greetings from Archie
Cockapoo, 9 years old
My favourite thing about Archie is...
He still behaves like a puppy at certain times even though he is 9 years old. His innocence and loving character melts my heart and everyone who comes into contact with him adore him He has such a gentle nature He does love children as we do have little people who visit and he loves their interactions.
The biggest challenge with Archie is...
Barking. I put this down to his nervousness. So anyone who walks past the window or any noise he hears he barks. He is not a brave boy. He is scared of feathers, he barks at them and when the puff from his bark makes it move he legs it
The most surprising thing about owning a Cockapoo is...
They have just the amazing character’s. I have 2 and they are so different in some ways but they are both loving and gentle souls
What I wish I’d known about Cockapoos is...
Although this breed is hypoallergenic and does not moult. The upkeep of the fur is of utmost importance. They need brushing everyday and groomed professionally every 6 weeks. If not cared for properly the fur matts and is very painful for the dog.
Did you know
Cockapoos produce low amounts of dander and hair, so they’re popularly chosen as dogs for those with allergies or sensitivities.
