My favourite thing about Dylan is...
He's a gentle, thoughtful chap. He is an elder statesman now but he is a massive part of our lives.
The biggest challenge with Dylan is...
He's gone deaf in the last six months. He gets very distressed if I go out of the room and he is unable to see me. This is recent and can be quite upsetting. Since we adopted him he has been the easiest dog in the world. This last few months, he has really aged.
The most surprising thing about owning a Collie (Smooth) is...
They shed a lot of hair!
What I wish I’d known about Collies (Smooth) is...
They need so much exercise.
Did you know?
Queen Victoria’s favourite Smooth Collie was a dog named ‘Sharp’, and he often featured in pictures with her. His grave is at Windsor Castle and is marked with a bronze statue.
