My favourite thing about Murphy is...
His faithfulness, comforter, mischievous, comical and somehow understanding.
The biggest challenge with Murphy is...
He is finicky with his food and treats, he is extremely ++ active and is very selective to whom he Barks at. Bikes and/or humans, sometimes he never barks on walks and other times he is always at it and wants to chase bikes, scooters etc.
The most surprising thing about owning a Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired) is...
His human behaviour, he is very needy and always needs cleaning when returning home as his undergarments are always dirty.
What I wish I’d known about Dachshunds (Miniature Smooth-Haired) is...
They are extremely needy, affectionate and super active and require a lot of attention and stimulation, but worth every effort, I would never be without him.

Dachshunds are big barkers which can be traced back to their hunting days when they’d trap prey underground and then call for the hunters to come and locate them. It’s likely you’ll have to train them how to stop so they don’t become a nuisance!
