Say Hi to Archie
Greyhound, 4 years old
He came from Suffolk Greyhound Rescue.
My favourite thing about Archie is...
his wonderful leans, he leans into his humans for cuddles and head scratches. He is such an affectionate love-bug, despite his size and the appearance of a bag of elbows.
The biggest challenge with Archie is...
He’s a mobile trip hazard. Wherever you are, he’s close behind- often snoozing on the floor.
The most surprising thing about owning a Greyhound is...
That they are so chilled. As long as they have a short walk twice a day, a warm place to snooze and lots of human company, they are very laid-back.
What I wish I’d known about Greyhounds is...
They are big! Our boy is 40kg and 2m long if he’s stretched out. I hadn’t realised they were quite so big.
Did you know?
The Greyhound is the fastest dog on earth reaching speeds of over 40mph on short sprints.
