Get to know Sid
Greyhound, 6 years old
He came from Greyhound Trust Dudley .
My favourite thing about Sid is...
His ability to constantly show his love no matter the mood or the situation. Sids loyalty is second to none. He is able to sense when I’m having a PTSD flare up and will always sit with a paw or his head on me and give me kisses - just like he is reminding me that he is there and that he loves me.
The biggest challenge with Sid is...
His very incredible talent to resist getting out of bed in the morning! Sometimes he has to be gently tipped or dragged out of his bed and carried downstairs for breakfast!
The most surprising thing about owning a Greyhound is...
The lack of exercise that they need! They are couch potato’s and don’t need miles and miles of walking per day. I also love their knack of becoming your second shadow, can always guarantee they aren’t far away!
What I wish I’d known about Greyhounds is...
They can be on the larger side of dog breeds but are the most gentle, calm loving dogs you could ever ask for.
