Say Hello to Drewroo
Irish Wolfhound, 1 Year old
My favourite thing about Drewroo is...
He is so adorable gentle and sweet but still a bouncy, happy puppy. I am training him as an assistance dog, he is amazingly smart and so well behaved.
The biggest challenge with Drewroo is...
He hates being on his own. He is a rescue and needs his mum with him. He is getting better and knows we won’t leave him without company for long.
The most surprising thing about owning a Irish Wolfhound is...
They really don’t need a lot of room or walking a good run off lead with a decent walk is enough then they are happy to curl up on a sofa and sleep.
What I wish I’d known about Irish Wolfhounds is...
They really are perfect for a family the only breed I would trust with a small baby. They are a family member more than a dog. They know who’s good and who’s bad and will be your best friend, loyal and loving.
Did you know?
While many people assume the Great Dane is the tallest dog in the world, if you think tall is when they are standing on their hind legs, that record is held by the Irish Wolfhound! A male Irish Wolfhound on their hind legs can stand at a stunning seven feet tall!
