Say Hello to Bluey Boy of Calpe
Labradoodle, 2 years old
My favourite thing about Bluey Boy of Calpe is...
He has a fantastic nature, is a family dog, and loves our grandchildren. Enjoys long walks, and being in the garden. Not a demanding dog. He goes into public places and is well behaved. Bluey visits other houses and copes well. He loves mini breaks in our caravan. Walks well on and off his lead.
The biggest challenge with Bluey Boy of Calpe is...
Tries to overpower other dogs by standing over them, there’s no aggression just wagging his tail. Sometimes recall is not great.
The most surprising thing about owning a Labradoodle is...
How calm he is, we were expecting him to be hyper. Surprisingly he doesn’t like swimming.
What I wish I’d known about Labradoodles is...
That he would be as big as he is, 41kg. Not the medium sized dog we were expecting, he obviously has his height from his standard poodle father.
Did you know?
Labradoodles make great therapy dogs. Their warm personality is often a match for people with autism or physical disabilities.
