Say Hi to Phoebe
Labradoodle, 2 years old
My favourite thing about Phoebe is...
watching her play with other dogs. She loves a game of chase so often pinches other dogs’ balls so they’ll run after her. Sometimes she can be a bit boisterous with smaller dogs so it’s funny to see her get a taste of her own medicine from bigger dogs - you should see how fast she moves then! I love to snuggle on the couch with her but it’s often not long before she’s bringing me a toy again!
The biggest challenge with Phoebe is...
stopping her from eating anything she finds lying around - her favourites are tissues and napkins… she can even get at them wearing a muzzle!
The most surprising thing about owning a Labradoodle is...
nothing really - we researched the breed before getting Phoebe and she’s very true to type. The only surprise we’ve had really is that she’s a lot smaller than we expected… more Cockerpoo size.
What I wish I’d known about Labradoodles is...
not specific to the breed but I wish I’d listened to the Baxter and Bella podcast before we got Phoebe - I’ve learned so many useful things but some of them would have been better to know earlier.
Did you know?
The Labradoodle lifespan can reach 14 years as both their parent breeds have long lifespans.
