Meet Bruce
Labrador Retriever, 8 years old
My favourite thing about Bruce is...
He’s just a lovable, funny Lab. 👍🏻🐕
The biggest challenge with Bruce is...
Over eating! Same as 90% of other Labradors. He has no off switch regarding food. Apart from that he’s just a lovely boy.
The most surprising thing about owning a Labrador Retriever is...
Easy to train, great family dog if brought up with children that respect him. He loves everybody except the post man. He could eat for Scotland but has unlimited love and fun to bring you. He will cheer u up if your down and make u laugh if u are sad. A forever friend. He is good with other dogs but I doubt he would actually bother with other dogs as long as your always there for him. 👍🏻🐕
What I wish I’d known about Labrador Retrievers is...
I wish I’d believed that food is there top priority. They like all dogs need training and socialising with everything from day one but really need to be exercised regularly and learned to chill but once trained no dog can chill out like a Labrador.
Did you know?
Labradors have turned their paw to a whole host of dog careers, including: drug and explosive detection, search and rescue, and even guide dogs!
