Bonjour from Shadow
Labrador Retriever, 6 Months old
My favourite thing about Shadow is...
he is very adventurous, he is from gun dog stock so really likes flushing in the local woods, he is very into ball and Frisbee and responds very well to training.
The biggest challenge with Shadow is...
when another dog has a ball he wants to chase it, not all other dogs appreciate that.
The most surprising thing about owning a Labrador Retriever is...
how food orientated he is, not only food, he sometimes like sniffing out fox faces which is pretty gross!
What I wish I’d known about Labrador Retrievers is...
as a breed they are susceptible to joint issue later in life so it is very important to limit there walking time whilst they are puppies in order to help slowly develop there joints without straining them.
