My favourite thing about Stellar is...
The welcome home we get, even if I've just been out to the corner shop for 5 mins. She's unbelievably attentive whilst at the same time, soft as a brush with my teenaged children
The biggest challenge with Stellar is...
Her endless energy. That said, as someone who spends most of my time working from home, it makes me take a break at lunchtime to take her to the local country park for a run around. Good for her, good for my mental health.
The most surprising thing about owning a Labrador Retriever is...
How quickly they learn and easy they are to train. Stellar was sitting, spinning, seeking and returning to us when we called from a very young age.
What I wish I’d known about Labrador Retrievers is...
Their love of water and especially big, deep dirty puddles which means, particularly through the wetter months, regular wipe downs, baths, showers (pretty much every other day).
Did you know?
A litter can sometimes contain puppies with all three Labrador colours (black, yellow and chocolate).
