Say Hi to Archie
Maltipoo, 4 years old
My favourite thing about Archie is...
How he meets me as soon as I come home and gives me the biggest kisses, his cute little face and all the loves we have together. He is so soft and gentle and very playful and I can take anything out of his mouth, he has never chewed anything and has such a good temperament.
The biggest challenge with Archie is...
He barks at other dogs on tv and becomes excitable when he sees his lead.
The most surprising thing about owning a Maltipoo is...
How loving and effectionate he actually is, he’s such a lap dog who thinks he’s a cat 😂. He likes to lay on the back of the settee and has a squeaky mouse or 3 that is a cat toy that he absolutely loves. I have a cat and he gets on well with her but he goes mad at the neighbours cat if he sees him 🙈😂.
What I wish I’d known about Maltipoos is...
Nothing. I couldn’t wish for a better little dog. He looks lite a little teddy bear and people are surprised when I say he’s 5 in March as they think he’s still a puppy. It’s great that he doesn’t malt either with having poodle in him.
Did you know?
Like many of the designer crossbreeds, the Maltipoo originated in the United States in a quest to find a small companion dog that didn’t shed and that would fit into any family’s lifestyle no matter how small their home and garden.
