Greetings from Candy
Poodle (Miniature), 5 years old
My favourite thing about Candy is...
She is very loving and loyal. Her favourite place is on my lap and because she is a pedigree poodle, she does not leave hairs on my clothes or furniture. She has never chewed anything and I can trust to leave her, even with baubles dangling from the Christmas tree and she will not touch them.
The biggest challenge with Candy is...
The biggest challenge is that she has a loud yap and will bark at any passing person, especially if they also have a dog.
The most surprising thing about owning a Poodle (Miniature) is...
The breed is surprisingly agile. They can jump quite high, but fortunately, they are intelligent and can be taught not to jump on furniture.
What I wish I’d known about Poodles (Miniature) is...
There is nothing I can say that is negative about poodles, as I knew the breed long before I bought one, so there were no surprises.
Did you know?
A Poodle’s coat never stops growing, which is one of the many reasons they need regular grooming.
