Let us introduce Luna
My favourite thing about Luna is...
She is the most loving dog, she loves everything, everyone, every animal and just wants to be friends. She has also been the easiest dog to train, like incredibly easy especially when you read the things about her breeds. She is honestly amazing, she changed all our lives but certainly our sons who was going through a really hard time when we got her.
The biggest challenge with Luna is...
Jumping! This dog can jump. She can jump a 6 foot fence, it’s shockingly incredible. She licks everything and everyone, which a lot of people don’t like (but we love it 🤣)
The most surprising thing about owning a Shar Pei & Chow Chow is...
How easy she has been to train. All you read is how lazy and stubborn chow chows are, a bit like me but yes she can be lazy and she can be stubborn but on the whole she has been amazing. She was crate trained not a single night of whining and within two days she was toilet trained. She will sit, lie down, down, up, crawl, jump, wait, leave, turn around, roll over and balance something on her head.
What I wish I’d known about Shar Peis & Chow Chows is...
Not sure I wish I’d known but the vet has actually said she is like the perfect mixed breed. She has some rolls but not enough to cause any trouble like with the eyes etc her ears point up and don’t flop so no issues there and she is fluffy but not as fluffy as a chow so a lot more manageable.
