Greetings from Chestnut
Shih Tzu, 2 years old
She came from Jerry greens dog rescue .
My favourite thing about Chestnut is...
Her kisses and cuddles.
The biggest challenge with Chestnut is...
As she was used as a breeding bitch having her first litter at 7/8 months, she does not know a lot about normal everyday life.
The most surprising thing about owning a Shih Tzu is...
Once they trust you, they give you so much love. They crave love.
What I wish I’d known about Shih Tzus is...
The speed their coat grows. Having to watch YouTube vids to see how to trim round there eyes. No walking with a collar and lead, you must use a harness.
Did you know?
Despite originating in China in the 17th century (or perhaps even earlier) the Shih Tzu dog breed was hidden from the West, and was largely unknown until the 20th century.
