Meet Mickie
St. Bernard, 11 Months old
My favourite thing about Mickie is...
she is just so adorable & just loves to cuddle, although she's not always aware of her size & still thinks that she's a lap dog. she's always happy to see you & ready to greet you at the door after a busy day at work & her tail never stops wagging. they really are your best friend & she never fails to make you smile, she gives unconditional love - always
The biggest challenge with Mickie is...
she's so loving but she's so unaware of their size, she's a real love bug but can knock you over when she sometimes comes bounding into the house all excited. yes she malts alot & also slobbers but it's to be expected with the breed but she has some real funky bibs & leggings that she regularly "Rocks out" !!! lol
The most surprising thing about owning a St. Bernard is...
They are eager to please, which can make training easier but can also be very stubborn, they are friendly, gentle giants & very tolerant, Saints can be especially good for families with well-behaved children. Known to be exceptionally understanding and patient
What I wish I’d known about St. Bernards is...
how much i'd been hooked on the breed, i started with one but quickly wanted a house full & currently have 4, ranging from 8 1/2 years old to eleven months old & both rough & smooth coats
Did you know?
In the film, Beethoven’s 2nd, over 100 puppies were used due to the fact that they grew so fast the production couldn’t keep up with them!
