Meet Dilly
Welsh Corgi (Cardigan), 6 years old
My favourite thing about Dilly is...
How quickly she picks up new things in training and the endless entertainment from her clowning around.
The biggest challenge with Dilly is...
She likes to give her opinions on everything!
The most surprising thing about owning a Welsh Corgi (Cardigan) is...
The versatility, energy and brains they have; Corgis aren't just for old people. Not a surprise to me but a surprise to others: they have tails!
What I wish I’d known about Welsh Corgis (Cardigan) is...
The amount of fur that covers my house! They're herding dogs and have a herding dog brain which needs stimulating.
Did you know?
In the Welsh language the Corgi was called Ci Llathaid which mean it was a ‘yard dog’. This didn’t refer to its work as a farm dog but instead indicating it was a yard long from its nose to the tip of its tail.
