Feeding guide

Feeding guide

For an average adult cat (4kg), feed 3 cans throughout the day in at least 2 separate meals. The adult maintenance averages are based on moderately active cats at normal environmental temperatures. Individual needs vary and feeding should be adjusted as required to maintain your cat at a lean, healthy body weight. Serve at room temperature. Fresh clean drinking water should always be available.

I was sent this flavour for free to test with our cat, who was previously fed a different brand, but this is an honest review based on my own experience. There's not a lot I can say apart from that he loved it. With his usual food, he generally eats a few mouthfuls from his first visit to his dish then gradually eats the rest over a few hours. He also usually doesn't like salmon flavoured food from his usual brand. When I gave the first tin of Gold Salmon to him, he didn't leave his dish until he'd finished the lot. He wasn't as enthusiastic with the rest of the tins, but he still ate the lot after 2-3 visits to his dish with no waste. The food also seems top quality, with fine cuts of meat in a thick sauce.

I've two cats. A bengal and a British Shorthaired. They are extremely spoiled and completely different in which foods they like. I've finally found a food they both love and lick their bowls clean !

I got this as a free trial, my cat is very fussy and usually takes a while with something new but he ate every bit at first attempt. I love to see him enjoy his food and he definitely did with this.
