Feeding guide
For kittens from 6 to 12 weeks, feed 2½ to 3 pouches throughout the day ; from 12 to 26 weeks, feed 3 to 4 pouches per day and from 26 to 52 weeks, feed 4 pouches per day in at least 2 separate meals. Each kitten is different, depending on activity level and body condition, food amounts and/or time allowed to eat may need to be adjusted. For pregnant or nursing cats: feed as much as your cat will eat with at least 3½ or 5½ pouches respectively for gestation and lactation.
Serve at room temperature. Clean, fresh drinking water should always be available.

Well I have (what seems) a brand new cat in the house...! Pixie has always been very fussy when it comes to meal time. I have tried many different brands, both wet and dry food, but nothing quite hit the spot for her, until now. She no longer leaves a half a portion and saunters away. Instead, her bowl is clean and she still lingers around for more! I will absolutely be purchasing more of this food.
Bruno, the cat, is a little fussy and often turns his nose up at different brands.
Not this time. To my nose, it smelled a little cheesy and a little unpleasant, but he wolfed it down. His habit is to eat some of a portion, head out for a bit and come and finish it. This time, he took it all in one go.
Which comes from the fact that it has good texture and has good colour - looking, and smelling appetising to a cat. He remained energetic after the food, so it clearly agreed with him - with such a limited 'experiment', it's difficult to say his health improved, but he certainly seemed happy.
The pouches themselves though seemed a little ungenerous. His eating a whole pouch in one go shows both the quality of the product and the slightly small portions - exacerbated a little by the fact it wasn't easy to get every last bit out of the packet. It doesn't exactly slide out (which may, again, be a symptom of the quality). This meant he ate 4 portions a day, not three, so he got through the box pretty quickly. Which can make for a slightly expensive habit.
So a great and felt like a luxury, but that's not always what you need.
I couldn't believe the reaction I got from my cat when I gave him this food, I've never seen him so excited, as soon as a small bit got into his bowl he was trying to push my hand away with his head so he could eat it and it was hard to put out the whole pouch!
I've never seen him eat so fast, he absolutely loved it and completely cleared the bowl, even licked it clean!
He is so happy, I would definitely buy this food for him again.
This is a great food, my cats really enjoyed it and his toileting was much easier to deal with. I’ll definitely be using it going forward.
What’s really heat imho is this food doesn’t smell as awful as some specialised foods can do. Some foods can look bland and unappetising but this purina senior for sterilised looks like it’s well made and ready for the flooofs
