Feeding guide
For kittens from 6 to 12 weeks, feed 2½ to 3 pouches throughout the day ; from 12 to 26 weeks, feed 3 to 4 pouches per day and from 26 to 52 weeks, feed 4 pouches per day in at least 2 separate meals. Each kitten is different, depending on activity level and body condition, food amounts and/or time allowed to eat may need to be adjusted. For pregnant or nursing cats: feed as much as your cat will eat with at least 3½ or 5½ pouches respectively for gestation and lactation.
Serve at room temperature. Clean, fresh drinking water should always be available.

I was very excited to get the chance to try Pro Plan with my cat Socks as I have hear a lot of good things about it. Since he can be picky I wasn't sure if he would like it, but he definitely does. I think it's one of his favourites.
The food looks and smells nice and high quality compared to his usual food and he is really excited to eat it and finished every pouch as soon as I gave it to him. The gravy in this food is a good consistency and not runny like some other foods. It comes out of the packet quite easily but I did need a spoon to get the rest. I also like that is specifically formulated for neutered cats like him. I think I would need to feed it for longer than 10 days to see if suited him any better than his usual food but I definitely like the fact that it has been well researched to give the best nutrition.
However it is quite a bit more expensive than other foods, and unfortunately doesn't state the meat content in the ingredients list which is something I'd like to see. It's also a shame it only comes in one flavour as I think my cat likes a change now and then. I would buy it again as an occasional change in food but I don't think I would switch solely to this food. I think a bigger pack size with a variety of flavours would be a great option.
I think I might try it for longer in rotation with their Housecat variety as it is a salmon flavour, and see if there is a noticeable difference compared to his regular food after a month or so.
i have been using Purina products for a long time now and my cat loves it. He used to have issues with his stomach after some products but nothing after Purina. More importantly, he is a furry cat and sheds a lot. Because of this my wife who has a mild allergy would always be coughing or having issues with her breathing. Fortunately for her, its worked out well.
Purina products are great and this specific sterlised sed food has done wonders for my cat. He literally can't have enough of it and is crazy in love with it.
When I opened the first pouch, I was not sure what to expect as I’ve seen other brands providing a lot of gravy but not that much food in them or others just including a really fine paste that my cat does not enjoy that much.
I have to say I was quite surprised with both the texture and the smell of this product. It does not smell like some sort of subproduct, but I can see and feel I’m in front of quality food. At the same time, my cat loves this food, she enjoys chewing the chicken chunks and I'm also reassured I'm providing her with good food that will benefit and support her. It's a win-win!
My cat was curious when this arrived as can be a little fussy. She really enjoyed the first pouch I gave her and was a sufficient amount on the packet to satisfy her. The food was meaty/chunky and was overall impressed. Would have liked a selection of flavours as she gets quite fussy and bored with the same each mealtime. I have chatted with friends about this brand and would recommend it to others. .
