Recommended daily amount (pouch/day)
For an average cat of 4 kg and 7-11 years old, feed up to 3 pouches per day and for a cat >11 years old, feed up to 3½ pouches per day in at least 2 separate meals. The senior maintenance averages are based on moderately active cats. Individual needs vary and feeding should be adjusted as required to maintain your cat at a lean, healthy body weight.
Serve at room temperature. Clean, fresh drinking water should always be available.

Our one eyed cat Jack came to us as a stray and for a stray he can be quite fussy over his food. We have tried a few different brands of cat food and some he would eat and some he would just walk away from. I saw this one and it was specifically for senior neutered cats so I thought why not give it go. Well he absolutely loves it ! When I first opened the box and popped it on the floor to show him he sniffed it and started rubbing it with absolute love. So I opened a pack and put it in his food bowl - he completely scoffed it. The cheeky puss then kept asking for another one, I caved !
So...firstly a true positive..
The cat loved it and adapted quickly - with only 10 pouches it was difficult to introduce slowly - but Sweep was in on the bowl like a rocket. Happy puddy tat
No issues (apart from a hair ball but that cant be connected)
Sweep seemed content and eager to eat. His brother was interested too (difficult if you have 2 cats )
Sweep has had issues with hydration but nothing wrong with this when mixed with a bit of IAMs kibble -
And its clean out of the pouch - so recyling the pouch is easy.
One negative. its not cheap! and I'd had to think hard about giving it to the both of them all the time.
But as a mixed treat.. happy!
Was definitely worth it for something I may not have considered but as my cats get older its a significant consideration
I have a 15 year old maine coon Cross. She's grumpy and has can't hide her expression is she doesn't like something. When I opened the box and opened a sachet she came running. Immediately she was gulping the food down like she was a kitten again. In fact, she had words with our own kitten to keep away from her dinner! She's never been one to eat for long periods but this pack has kept her at the bowl for longer. I feel happier knowing that she's having a good meal and it's sustaining her into her old age. Definitely one to keep using.
When I put this in their bowl, they were fighting for first position in the feeding queue. The bowl was completely cleared for each sachet. With four cats the box did not last long. Not one of them had a poorly tummy. Not sure I will use on a regular basis as its double the price of what I normally feed them. Now and again maybe but that's better than never.
