Fizz has for a last few months has become awkward with her food even more so if you offer her dried biscuits but I have to say so far so good she’s enjoying these and hasn’t become bored of them as yet .
My little fur baby is a 9 year old sterilised British blue who is rather fussy with her food! She’s mainly indoors but she does go out in the garden as long as it’s not too cold or wet (as I said she’s rather fussy :))
I wasn’t sure if she would like the purina proplan dry food for sterilised cats +7 years, but shortly after pouring some into her bowl she scoffed lots down and she hasn’t touched her regular food since.
The size of the dry food is very good, perfect bite size for a more senior cat (not too big but still big enough for her to munch on). Also it doesn’t smell too bad, I find some dry cat food very smelly!
She can sometimes suffer for hair balls as she’s mainly indoors and if she eats too fast this can trigger her to be sick. I was a bit worried this would happen as she are the purina proplan dry food very quickly (as she obviously enjoyed it a lot) but she was absolutely fine afterwards!
I think we might have to swap to this brand from now on as I doubt she will eat anything else 😊
First impression;
Wow just wow when I opened the box I wasn’T expecting a 3KG bag of dry food existed is an understatement. I like the way the bag is air tight & resalable as it will keep the food fresher for longer! On inspection of the putter packaging of the bag I came across a handle which is a great addition to be able to carry the bag without causing you discomfort. I opened the bag and my cat (Frosty) came running into the kitchen as he smelt something different to eat I gave him a little handful in his bowl and frosty demolished the whole thing within seconds.
Our Torby (10) is a rescue who came to us four years ago. I that time, we have struggled to find a dried food he can keep down easily, and which he likes to eat. We may well have just done that! He loves this food. The smaller size seems to work well with his digestive problems, and it makes him slow down a little while eating. Now our NEW problem is that Button, his step-brother (3) thinks Torby's food is delicious too!
