My boisterous German Shepherd suddenly forgets he is in his adult years when it comes to him catching on to the fact it's walkies time. I have trialed these treats out to reward him for not bouncing around like a puppy when he catches a glance of his lead. The use of the treats appears to be working successfully with him. He now will wait patiently to have his lead clipped on and providing he then doesn't drag me down the hallway he gets his treat before leaving the house. I've tried clickers and commands before this. But similar to my husband, the only way to get my dog to listen is through his tummy.
