The BAKERS story begins way back in 1851 when Edward Baker set up a family flour business. Fast forward to 1991 when BAKERS Complete was launched, because Edward Baker believed that dry dog food should be every bit as tasty as it is nutritious.
Our recipe has been made with a variety of tender* meaty chunks & wholegrains for quality, tasty goodness. Each meal contains the everyday nutrients your dog needs to get on with all the playful & cheeky things that happy & healthy BAKERS dogs do!

Daily feeding guidelines in grams per day:
Toy dog: 1-5kg, Total daily amount: 40-120g
Small dog: 5-10kg, Total daily amount: 120-190g
Medium dog: 10-25kg, Total daily amount: 190-350g
Large dog: 25-45kg, Total daily amount: 350-520g
Giant dog: 45-70kg, Total daily amount: 520-700g

Our Labrador Meg used to only eat dry food, but since a recent scary few days at the vets she was introduced to wet food and has developed a taste for it. We had been trying to wean her off it by mixing wet and dry, but she would just eat the meat and leave the dry food. We tried the dry food and mixed in the classics gravy, which worked better than traditional wet food as it improved the texture of the dry food, giving it the appearance of wet food. She took to it immediately and is back to eating really well. We are gradually reducing the amount we use and have stopped miking the gravy in, and just pour a little on top, so she has a mix of wet and dry food and so far so good! Would definitely reccomend.
these are fab my dog loves them i got to fill his bowl regualr he sits by the bag and crys when he wants more he enjoys this brand more than the normal ones i use for him
Since we moved to England a few months ago, we have been struggling to get our pug Elmo appropriate food. He was used to a certain brand while we were leaving in another country and so although we tried different brands in England, it just wasn't right. We take him out twice so that means some "grass activity" twice a day but because he got food that probably his body didnt agree with, it ended up multiple times a day which is obviously not right!
I cannot tell you how happy I am now as a few days after we started feeding him Purina Bakers, all his activities came back to normal. We will never ever buy something else but Purina. We are happy that he likes it and also we are extremely happy that his body reacts very well to it.
Bottom line, choosing the perfect food for your dog is very important. We struggled finding one for months but now that we did, there is no going back. Thanks Purina! Happy dog, happy oweners :)
Luna loves soft cubes and picks them up from the bowl. Food smells really good, like roast meat. I will defenitely buy some more in future
