Purina sent a bag to trial. My dog took to it without hesitation and it seemed to suit her. I mix some in with her regular food for variety but she also has it as a complete meal. I would say that some pieces seem a little on the large size for a small dog but as mine is more small to medium size it was no problem. It was great to be able to try before buying.
