Feed puppies less than 3 months of age 3 to 4 daily feedings of moistened food.
After 3 months of age, gradually reduce moistening and feed 3 times per day.
From 6-12 months, provide 2 daily feedings. Each puppy is different, depending on his activity level and body condition, food amount may need to be adjusted. For more details please check the brand website.
Feeding during gestation and lactation: During the last 3 to 4 weeks of pregnancy and while nursing, food allowances should be increased 1.5 to 2 fold maintenance levels.
After weaning, the mother’s food should be adjusted to maintain her at an ideal body condition.
For adult toy dogs feed daily 35g for a 1 kg dog, 75g for 3kg dog and 110g for a 5 kg dog.
Clean, fresh water should be available at all times. To monitor your dog’s health, consult a veterinary surgeon regularly.
Introduce BETA gradually over 7 days.

Billy is a 5 month old Lhasa Apso with a big appetite. He has an older brother so is constantly trying to eat his food instead of his own. However, with this food it was the other way around, he loved them and had no problem finishing off a bowl full. His brother also wanted in on the action! The biscuits are a nice size for his little mouth and don’t have a strong smell like some others. I will definitely try him with the other flavour.
I recently switched my dog to Purina BETA's puppy dry dog food, and I'm impressed with the results. The product clearly supports my dog's dietary needs, providing essential nutrients for his overall health. Since the transition, I've noticed positive changes in his energy levels and coat condition. His digestion has also improved significantly.
Regarding the food itself, my dog seems to enjoy the taste, and the smell is pleasant. The packaging is practical and easy to handle, keeping the kibbles fresh.
My 8 months puppy Toffie has stomach problems sometimes, until now we didn't manage to identify what causes are. After 1 week of feeding him with that dry food with prebiotic, I could see improvement in digestion. Smells nice, not too strong, shapes and size of biscuits are just ideal for Toffie as a medium size dog. I would definitely recommend it.
The packaging is very attractive looking and has key information clearly visible including the added addition of natural prebiotic.
On filling Frank’s food bowl, the size of the kibble was decent and the texture not too hard for a smaller dog (Miniature Dachshund).
He seemed to enjoy the food and cleared the bowl straight away and not get easily distracted which is usually the case.
He seems to really like this kibble and doesn’t have any difficulty in chewing compared to some other brands, so will continue with this from now on.
I would highly recommend this product.
