My 9 (almost 10) year old rescue is incredibly fussy about his food. I was therefore, very pleasantly surprised that as soon as I opened the package he had his nose stuck in there. He wolfed the food down immediately so it obviously tasted great and the size of the kibble was just right for his mouth (and missing teeth!). He had no digestive issues afterwards and seemed full of energy. I am so pleased to find an inexpensive food that offers him all the nutrition he needs in his mature years.
My rescued Jack Russell who is now reaching 12/13 years old has always had a dry dog food which he seemed to like and grazed at his own pace but never made him excited.
Since starting him on Purina BETA 2 weeks ago he now clock watching for me to fill his bowl !
He now loves to gobble down his food , seems to be full of more energy and quicker on his feet. There is definitely a difference over the 2 weeks.
This is without doubt our new choice of food for our little king.
It also doesn’t smell chemically like some other dry dog foods and it’s really good sized pieces so easier for him to munch on.
It comes packaged really well have absolute no hesitation in recommending this to any senior dog.

My 8 year old Westie can be fussy and is used to wet food, so I did wonder how the Purina Beta chicken would go down. I needn't have worried, she scoffed it quickly, as if it was a delicious treat. She has finished every meal since so it seems to be a win! Happy to think it's provided her with extra goodness to support her as she gets older. The product smells good, and I like the fact it is mess free to serve. Would recommend.
I’ve been giving my little 15 year old dog Purina Beta for the last few weeks and I can already notice a difference in her energy levels. I’ve tried Sandie on the dry chicken flavoured food and she’s been gobbling it up. I love that chicken is the main ingredient in the food and know she’ll be getting the best nutrition as a result. As Sandie has arthiritis and other symptoms of old age, giving her food that is going to help combat some of these issues is really important and Purina Beta seems to do just that with omega 3 fatty acids to keep her joints healthy. Definitely recommend!
