The food was well packaged and easy to open. Kibble was made up of big and small bits. My dog really enjoyed the food and ate without issues but it did give her horrendous gas and a bit of tummy trouble - poo became very liquid like. It didnt really seem to put her off but I put her back to her normal food just in case. She has eaten other Purina brands before without any problems but this one just didn't seem to agree with her even though she seemed to love it!
My cockapoo Theo can be very fussy when it comes to dry food. He rarely touches it at breakfast time, until we add some wet food in at dinner time - but Purina BETA certainly changed that!
When we received the bag, Theo had a good sniff around it and his tail waggled double time as I opened the bag to give him a sniff. And as soon as it hit the bowl, he gobbled it up!
Theo tended to eat the wet food and spit out dry biscuits before, only going back to eat them if he was hungry later, but with this Purina BETA, he’s finishing every dry biscuit in the bowl.
The food itself doesn’t have an overpowering smell or any kind of residue like some other dry foods can have, so is pleasant to dish up.
The only downside to the product I found was the variety of biscuit sizes in the pack. Being the smaller end of a medium sized dog, Theo was a bit lazy with the largest of biscuits.
I have been using this for a week or so and I must say upon opening it it smelled lovely and and least it smelt appealing for my dog as some smell horrible when offered to him he ate it straight away without any problems he love it and has eaten it ever since
My dog is half frenchie and half pug. She is 7 years old and normally very fussy with her food especially dry dog food. However she loved this dry dog food even on its own as I normally have to put oxo or wet food when I give her dry dog food. It has been two weeks now and she is still getting excited by wagging her tail when ever I pick up the bag. The packaging is good and keeps the food fresh. I would recommend to other dog lovers
