So apart from the fact my puppy very much enjoys the biscuits and has been clearing her bowl each meal, it takes her longer.
There’s a lot of crunching going into every bite which means they must taste great. She has been ready and keen each meal time . Her digestion seems to be better and overall no loose poo which as a dog owner is very much a positive.
I have a 6 month old German shepherd puppy. She absolutely loved this puppy food. Her stools were firmer compared to when she was on the old brand we used and she had less flatulence. Her energy levels stayed the same and she always seems to be excited for her next meal. The size of the biscuits were a good size for her to eat as sometimes she can be fussy. Her coat stayed shiny and healthy looking. Overall I would recommend this product and will continue to use.
I have to say that I as really surprised that my pup Tala was so keen to eat this as she is normally so fussy and it’s a bit of a job finding anything that she really likes!
As soon as I opened the bag, she got extremely excited (for her) and was desperate for her bowl to be filled.
After using this for a week she has definitely got a lot more energy than normal and seems to be a much happier dog all round.
The smell of the dog food was really quite nice and wasn’t overpowering like others I have bought.
I will be purchasing this from now on for Tala as it was such a great success!
My xl bully is a bit of a diva ....... if she doesn't like it she walks off in a huff. She mainly eats wet food and leaves the dry dog biscuits.
However I tried the pro purina opti start and im eating my words because she absolutely loves it!
Oh my days..... now she's running round my legs at feeding time and nudging the bag. The sad look , the puppy eyes, the whining and the ears flap down if I go for the wet food.
She's less temperamental and not itchy scratchy all the time like she was on the wet food. I've been through various products but I'm now switching to purina.
Another advantage, you'll know what I mean when I say flatulence was bad. You know like it could kill off a continent and you evacuate never to return for a little while. It's stopped and if it does happen its tolerable so you don't need a gas mask.
Her bowel movements are much better, they are consistent, more formed and she's not straining or alternating between loose and hard poopies.
I am so happy with this product, I had my doubts but it's really worked for my bluebell. As you can see her sad face waiting to eat, she loves it so much it's gone in minute's leaving a empty bowl every time.
