PRO PLAN® Medium Puppy Sensitive Skin Salmon Dry Dog Food

My puppy, Kallie, is a 6 month old golden Labrador. She can be quite fussy with her food but really seems to enjoy this Purina pro plan for sensitive skin. For the first few days I’ve just mixed half of this with half of her regular food. Just to introduce it gradually. I add a little drop of slightly cooled, boiled water to the dry food and give it a stir. It makes like a kind of gravy. It also softens the biscuits which is essential just now. My puppy is teething so her gums are extra tender. Unless I add a little water and let it soak in for a few minutes, she just doesn’t want to eat it at the minute. She has been gobbling it down in record time. Tomorrow I will give her just the purina pro plan.

Already though I can see that she seems to be scratching less. Her eyes are nice and bright and her coat looks silky and smooth. She is full of energy and loves her walks in the hills. She’s very agile and enjoys scaling steep hillsides, chasing scents of where deer have been grazing. I can see her body becoming stronger and muscles developing in her shoulders, chest and hind quarters.

She had a bit of an upset stomach the first couple of nights and I woke up to diarrhoea on the kitchen floor. She is also teething at the minute so I’m not sure if the two are connected. It has settled down now regardless. I just wish the chewing of my fingers would settle down as quickly!

My 10 month old Cockapoo (Ralphy) is a happy and high energy dog who unfortunately has been notoriously fussy about his food. We’ve tried multiple Kibble brands, bespoke dog food subscriptions, raw foods and homemade. However we have never found a food he will consistently eat or enjoy.
Purina Pro Plan has been a massive hit with my boy and he has been eating it consistently for the past 2 weeks. Even licking his plate clean after and happily accepting this kibble as treats when out on a walk.
Ralphy has always been quite itchy and has regular skin irritations, our vet says he has skin allergies which he makes worse by constantly nibbling his skin. Since starting Purina Pro Plan I have noticed his fur is softer and more “floofy”. Though he still scratches and nibbles often I have observed less red patches on his skin.
I hope to continue using Purina pro plan for as long as possible and love seeing my happy boy enjoying his meals and snackies

My puppy had been having some dry skin issues that had me worried, it looked like dandruff and was worse after a brushing. I was recommended Salmon oil as a food additive and so was delighted to see it as an ingredient. I started mixing the Purina Pro Plan with his normal food and gradually switched to 100% Purina. The difference in his eating habits was the first think I noticed. My little baby rarely finished his meals, but suddenly was eating everything, he was even waiting for me to fill his bowl, so tastewise, he clearly enjoyed this! With regards to his skin, it took about 5 days to notice a difference. His skin seems healthier and he has far less flakes of dry skin, it is now almost completely gone and he seems very happy and full of energy. It is so nice now sitting in the evening with him on my lap as I don't worry at all about his skin.

Bumble loves this new food, and from a notoriously picky eater, that's a big win. Her poops are firmer, she has less itchy spots, and is happier to be brushed with her new coat coming through beautifully glossy. The kibble is just the right size for smaller mouths too. Two paws up!
