My dog of 13 years gold Julia was slow to accept this, I notice this is much richer than her normal brand and feed. Perhaps she is not used to it, but within a few days, she grew keener to it.
This is now definitely one of her favourites brand, she didnt eat this any quicker or slower than her regulars. Her mood or behaviour didnt have any noticeable change, most importantly, she didnt develop any stomach issue after having this, which is a good thing.
The first 2 weeks she seems to be more active, endurance is definitely better, which is great for her mobility, and her willingness to go out and about, moving around.
I have shared some with my neighbours' dogs and will update how they find this shortly
Took Charlie awhile to get used to it, although I had mixed it with his normal food for a week. It has made his poo slightly looser. Charlie is an interactive dog and I haven't seen any difference in his behaviour.
Lucky is thourghly enjoying Purina®ProPlan®, hes loving the size of each biscuit and cant get enough of the taste of it. He prefers Purina ®Plan® to his regular food and rather have the tasty bites than to go to his normal food in his bowl . Lucky seems to get so excited when i feed him his Purina and waggles his tail excitedly, he seems to have alot more energy! Would highly recommend to anyone with fur babies , full of nutrition and has everything to keep youre fur babies happy and healthy . Thank you so much , will be buying this for him from now on
We have an 11 year old Staffie cross called Honey, we started feeding her the Purina Pro plan with Optiage about a week and a half ago. At first we mixed the Purina food in with her exiting dry food which she eats every day. Honey appeared to be eating the Purina food and we gradually phased out her other food leaving just the Purina.
However, since we have noticed she is hardly eating the food or very little of it we gave it a few days and have gone back to her original food which she is eating as normal. Its difficult to say why Honey didn't take to the food, but she seems to prefer a slightly larger biscuit, also the other brand of dry food she eats contains differnet shapes, sizes and textures of dry food which seems to spark her interest a little more. I noticed the Purina food was all the same type of biscuit.
So unfortunately we will not be continuing with the trial.
