Greetings from Dakota and Arlo
French Bulldog, 5 years old
My favourite thing about Dakota and Arlo is...
Dakota and Arlo are brother and sister. They love each other as well as all the members of our household. They are really funny and get up to all kinds of mischief. They know when we are sad and like to comfort us and the tricks they do for treats are unbelievable. However they both have a stubborn streak especially when we call them in from the garden, they hide from us but we can see their ears.
The biggest challenge with Dakota and Arlo is...
Making sure that they get the right diet and nutrition whilst avoiding allergy triggers.
The most surprising thing about owning a French Bulldog is...
They are highly intelligent and very vocal. They back chat making whining noises which have the family in fits of laughter. They know which toys are which and when asked they will bring you a named toy. I love them so much and spend a small fortune on them in fact my grandkids complain I spend more on my furry pals than I do on them!
What I wish I’d known about French Bulldogs is...
I wish that I had got one a long time ago but they do come with their challenges and we have spent thousands on surgery to help our boy with his breathing, our girl is fine with her breathing but suffers with allergies that we have to carefully manage.
