Feed puppies less than 3 months of age 3 to 4 daily feedings of moistened food.
After 3 months of age, gradually reduce moistening and feed 3 times per day.
From 6-12 months, provide 2 daily feedings. Each puppy is different, depending on his activity level and body condition, food amount may need to be adjusted. For more details please check the brand website.
Feeding during gestation and lactation: During the last 3 to 4 weeks of pregnancy and while nursing, food allowances should be increased 1.5 to 2 fold maintenance levels.
After weaning, the mother’s food should be adjusted to maintain her at an ideal body condition.
For adult toy dogs feed daily 35g for a 1 kg dog, 75g for 3kg dog and 110g for a 5 kg dog.
Clean, fresh water should be available at all times. To monitor your dog’s health, consult a veterinary surgeon regularly.
Introduce BETA gradually over 7 days.

My puppy is crazy about Purina Beta puppy dry food, chicken flavour.He absolutely loved the flavour and enjoyed every bite. He is very energetic little chap and he was obsessed and was asking for more every time he got his portion. The texture and size is great, also the variety of shapes make the food more interesting for my dog.
I have a very fussy Romanian rescue puppy. Rather than being grateful for new and exciting foods he’s been a nightmare from day one adapting to any foods. I didn’t have high hopes as we are at the eat when he’s very hungry stage with everything. How wrong could I have been. The smell, the size and obviously the taste finally appealed to him and every bowl is eaten immediately it’s put down. His coat is improving visibly. The important “pick up” after your dog is easier and far less stinky.
All in all I’m not changing foods until he’s an adult.
This product is quite a good size for storing in the cupboard.
Tried this food with 2 pups, a french bulldog and a lab pup both under 8 months old. Now the frenchy didn't particular like it but the lab puppy demolished it. Every bowl was finished and as the frenchy didnt like it, there were no squabbles which was good. Now as the lab pup is a little bigger with a bigger appetite, the bag didn't last as long as was wanting it for the frenchy.
There was no really strong smells from the bag to which i find quite rare with dog foods, the byproduct wasn't as bad as normal in my opinion either after they'd eaten this which was a plus.
I would recommend it to anyone whos dog is a little potent smelling after eating their traditional food. A little short period for any other health benefits with a bag this size but will definitely loo at it again.
We have a 5 month old Shetland Sheepdog called Rooster and he was very excited to take part in this review. He's been fussy with a few brands but he has been a huge fan of the Purina BETA Puppy chicken dry food. I can definitely see a change in him being excited for dinner and will continue to implement this product in to his regular feeding routine!
