This product came along at the right time as Bella has recently been advised to loose a but of weight by her vet.
On arrival she was instantly excited to sniff and try the kibble out. The bag was easy to open but not re sealable so something to keep in mind as sealed storage will be needed to keep it fresh. Bella loved the couple of bits I allowed her to have as a treat so we then moved on to transitioning it into her meals.
We were both interested to see different sizes of kibble in the bag. Ranging from small to very large. This means it takes her longer to eat meals, as the large bits require a bit of crunching, however I like this as always felt she ate way to fast.
After three days Bella still excited for each meal and has had no tummy issues. Too early to see if helping with weight loss but excited to carry on with this product and see what difference it makes.
Purina’s Beta Adult Light Dry Dog Food with Turkey is a reliable choice for pet owners seeking a balanced and weight-conscious diet for their canine companions. While there's room for improvement in terms of flavor options and packaging design, the overall quality and impact on my dog's well-being have made it a three-star product in my book. The chunks are unfortunately too large for my dog so she is unable to eat them as they cannot fit in her mouth. Maybe this will be better suited for a larger dog breed.
My dog is a 8 year old labrador. I have tried several other brands but like many other people trialling the kibble. It went in her bowl and she ate it straight away, She tends to graze dry food and often leaves some or all of it until I add tinned dog food in the evening. She is sleeping better making me think she is satisfied with the food. It smells meaty and I think the size of chunks and biscuits were just right. She started wagging her tail as soon as I got the bag out. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
Initially our dog tried to eat these but as she's a small dog the biscuits are just to big and hard for her to eat. We did add warm water to soften them , however she's not keen and left most of them. A real shame as she's a foodie. She needed the small dog ones to try really.
