So my golden retriever has been trialling this food for the last week. This food was easily introduced into our other food before transitioning fully onto it. We’ve had no problems with any stomach issues or digestive problems. He really enjoys his food. It smells and looks appealing. As a large athletic dog, he really looks forward to his food and he really looks forward to this Purina Pro plan food.
I was suprised when I received this because I didn’t imagine the kibble to be so large. I was sceptical because my 12yo Border Collie sometimes struggles with large kibble but she faced this head on and cleared her bowl! It also seems to fill her up more as prior to this I was using Wainwrights kibble but she would always go back to the bowl for more. Now with Pro Plan she finishes her food and walks away. A bonus is that the texture of the kibble means her teeth are kept clean too! Happy dog and happy mom!
We tried this for our German Shepherd who is quite energetic, well what can i say as soon as we put it in his bowl he scoffed it all up straight away and was still looking for some more he really seemed to enjoy it, the packaging is very good quality and strong also the information on it is clear and all the nutritional information is there too, definitely a paws up from Simba
I was shocked at the size of the bag I received (I was only expecting about 1kg).
My fur baby absolutely loves it, but, even after introducing it slowly, reducing her own food, the, erm, wind coming from her is shocking Haha. Apart from that, it seems ideal, she's healthy, full of energy and not getting bored of it (which she tends to do if you feed her the same thing for too long). I would definitely recommend this product!
