Reviews
I was sceptical of how a dog food could brighten my aging springer apart from the usual claims of "shiny coat and bright eyes" so I tried this not expecting much, but to my astonishment my dear old boy who has spent recent years at a much more easier pace (for a springer) and to be fair a more manageable old boy, has turned back into a dog in his prime, he has quickened his pace (good, means those pesky pounds of mine have started budging) he is much more alert and active ( he has escaped the garden several times finding holes and weaknesses in the hedging and fencing he hasn't bothered with in a long time). It just shows that what a dog consums obviously does have a huge effect on their behaviour and I for one have definitely switched (kids are older now and can do more chasing )

My wee dog mia loves pro plan, shes very fussy with food, and doesnt usually stick to 1 dog food for any more than about a week but shes been on this pro plan now for over a month and shes very happy with it .
My trial pack (5kg) was enough to feed my Springer X Lab for about 10 days. Probably not long enough to find out if this would be have the advertised effects. My dog is not exactly a fussy eater, most food is consumed with relish, only celery is spat out in disgust! So yes, she did enjoy this food.
The tests didn't help at all... Hide food anywhere, and she will find it - she IS a Springer after all! Letting her off a lead does not happen, a rescue with no recall training as a puppy, if allowed off lead, she would never be seen again! And greeting... Well she always went crazy when we come home. So no change there either!
She may have been a little livelier after a couple of days on the food, but after the long hot summer we have had, it could have been the cooler weather that made her more active. I don't think a trial with just 5kg of food was really enough, and as the food is much more expensive than I would normally be able to pay, I was not able to buy the bigger pack to see for sure.
